It is the responsibility of the installer and/or user of the product to ensure that it is used in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. If a product was purchased in error, do not install and/or use it. The purchaser must arrange to return the product(s) for a full refund.
This policy only applies to installers and/or users who are in the United States, customers who reside in other countries should act in accordance with their local laws and regulations.
All performance modifications and installations are at the customer’s own risk. SSR Performance holds no responsibility either implied or otherwise for mechanical, electrical or other failure when using any aftermarket performance products.

Your receipt of an electronic order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. SSR Performance reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. SSR Performance reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item and adjust your invoice accordingly. SSR Performance may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. Once you have placed an online, phone order, or other type of order with SSR Performance, you have entered in a contract to purchase and your credit card will be charged immediately. Orders DO NOT always ship the same day. Please allow 48 hours for your order to ship assuming no backorders. If you need priority delivery then please contact us by phone for immediate attention.
Because SSR Performance reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason, typographical, product photo, and/or pricing errors that may occur do not entitle a customer to receive something from those errors. SSR Performance cannot be held responsible for honoring purchases caused by such errors and will simply take action to correct the error. These errors are not a misrepresentation of a product, business, manufacture, or sale, but a error which SSR Performance's responsibility is to correct the error.
Ordering Procedure
Some specialty items may need to be manufactured and can take 4-8 weeks for delivery. However, if you order from us and a problem occurs, these are the steps to follow.
If you order a product, your credit card is charged immediately as stated above. We will notify you the status of the order and the product availability. If you choose to cancel the order after the same day we received or not during business hours when the order has been processed, a 5% cancellation fee will be charged and the remaining amount will be credited back to you.
The Shipping Rates shown at time of checkout are dimensional rate only. If your shipment weight is too much then contact us for a shipping quote. If there is an error in the shipping rate quoted we will contact you and let you know of the changes. International orders (Outside the USA) are not automatically processed as we may require additional information from you.
If a product is ordered and not wanted, the UNUSED item can be returned for a 20% restocking fee. Shipping is not refundable in either direction. All items wanting to be return MUST be reported within 30 days of the original invoice date. No items will be returnable after 30 days. All products shipped from the SSR Performance warehouse are shipped via UPS, DHL, or USPS and require a signature when delivered. Some packages shipped from the manufacturer may or may not require signatures for package release. Fedex, UPS, and DHL have package pick up locations if you are unable to sign for the package. If the package is returned to SSR Performance or manufacturer, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs and pay a 20% restocking fee. These fees will be charged to your account on file. All final sale items or items with final sale in the item description cannot be returned or refunded.
SSR Performance DOES NOT REFUND SHIPPING CHARGES. If you modify, install, or alter the item in any form, we cannot accept it as a return, will not cover any expenses related to the product or installation, and you maybe be required to purchase a replacement.
SSR Performance does not automatically offer shipping insurance, customer is liable to ask or provide shipping insurance and pay the additional fees. SSR Performance is not liable for any packages damaged or lost by shipping carrier. No refunds will be given if packages are lost or damaged. If a customer requests shipping insurance, the amount insured is not to exceed customs / declared value for domestic or international shipments.
Special Order Items
Some items may be specially manufactured or assembled specifically for the customer order. These items generally require a deposit or paid in full. Once this deposit amount is notified to the customer and they agree to order the special order item, the deposit becomes non-refundable. These special order items cannot be returned or resold. Cancellations are not allowed on special order parts.
Payment Terms
SSR Performance accepts credit cards, Paypal, Paypal Credit, Cashier Checks, Money Orders, and Bank Transfers with appropriate billing and shipping addresses to be verified. All orders are to be paid in full at the time of purchase unless we contact you otherwise. Prices and shipping cost is subject to change anytime because of exchange rates, shipping costs, manufacturer price changes, etc.
Warranty
SSR Performance Limited Warranty
- SSR Performance ECU Tunes
We fully support our products, as well as the system, processes, and procedures that have been tested on many platforms for 1000s of customers worldwide. There is NO WARRANTY on SSR Performance ECU Tunes. All files are good working files that have been rigorously tested and used in cars worldwide. The ECU tune service must be used within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days the tune purchase cannot be cancelled or refunded.
SSR Performance's limited warranties do not cover any of the following damages or items:
- Damages to and/or failure of any non-SSR Performance component or equipment on a vehicle including, but not limited to, the engine, electrical system, transmission and differentials.
- Damage caused by “Acts of God”, normal wear and tear, or damage to a vehicle or engine caused by, tuning by others, collision and/or engine failure.
- Any costs incurred for towing or downtime of the vehicle.
- Any rental vehicle costs
- Any labor costs to diagnose problems or to remove or replace the SSR Performance products; or any damage caused by the use of another company’s product.
- Any shipping costs.
